We are situated just five miles south of the market town of Hexham, in stunningly beautiful and easily accessible Northumbrian countryside.  We make an excellent base for exploring Hadrian’s Wall, the Northumberland coast and the cities of Newcastle and Durham – where there is some excellent retail therapy to be had especially at the Metrocentre in Gateshead.  For those of a sporting persuasion the championship golf courses of Slaley Hall are minutes away, whilst England’s finest salmon river, the River Tyne flows through Hexham.  The town also boasts a racecourse as does Newcastle with the latter also being the home to Newcastle Football Club and the rugby union side Newcastle Falcons.

If you are attending an event at Slaley Hall Hotel or Healey Barn and left it too late to book accommodation we offer a great alternative.

Our rooms comprise of one double and a twin.  Both have sound proofed floors, full central heating, a flat screen television with Freeview, tea and coffee making facilities and hairdryers.

Both rooms are situated on the first floor, above the pub and are accessed through a private external door via a staircase.  A small kitchen area is shared by both rooms in which the free deluxe continental breakfast that we offer can be taken.
