We offer hearty, freshly prepared traditional pub food, with every dish home made by Alan our chef.  The care he takes in preparing your meal will offer you the opportunity to relax, unwind and enjoy our hospitality.

Our menu changes seasonally and we daily offer a number of ‘specials’, even on a Sunday when our roast dinner becomes the talk of the Shire.  Across all our menus we offer vegetarian and vegan options and are always happy to cater for those with food allergies.  Why not get in touch ahead of your booking so that we can discuss your requirements and make your time with us even more pleasurable.  

Meals can be taken in our dog friendly bar and beer garden, or if you prefer in our more formal dining room.  We always recommend booking a table in our ever popular bar and restaurant in advance.
